CP3 MVP in Houston

Chris Paul has won the 2013 All Star Game MVP award scoring 20 points and handing out 15 assists in Houston on the weekend.
Clippers point guard Chris Paul has taken out the 2013 NBA All Star game MVP award on Sunday, as the West beat the East 143-138. Paul was instrumental in the 5 point victory, scoring 20 points and dishing out 15 assists in a high scoring affair that had plenty of highlights.
His two 3 pointers in the fourth quarter came at crucial times, as the Clipper went 7 for 10 from the field including 4 for 5 from long range.
CP3 is only the third player to hand out 15 assists in an All Star game, joining greats Magic Johnson and Isiah Thomas.
Clipper teammate Blake Griffin was on the end of 5 of them, most resulting in big dunks, and showcasing the “Lob City” style that Los Angeles has become accustomed to recently. B-Griff finished with 19 points on 9 of 11 shooting.
Other notable players in the West included Kevin Durant (30 points, 6 assists), James Harden (15 points, 6 rebounds) and Kobe Bryant (9 points, 8 assists, 4 rebounds).
For the East, Carmelo Anthony led the way with 26 points and 12 rebounds, while Miami pair Lebron James and Dwayne Wayde chimed in for 21 and 19.
